Lifting Our Voices
As President and Founder of the Agnes Scott College chapter of Lifting Our Voices, I have led initiatives focused on community service, outreach, and addressing food insecurity within the local community. Through collaborative leadership and grassroots organizing, I helped establish a student-led chapter committed to creating meaningful impact through direct service and advocacy.
In this role, I oversee organizational planning, coordinate volunteer initiatives, and support the execution of community-centered programs designed to serve unhoused individuals in the Atlanta and Decatur areas. One of our largest ongoing efforts includes the production and distribution of thousands of sandwiches for community members experiencing homelessness.
Beyond logistics and operations, this experience has strengthened my leadership, communication, and organizational skills while reinforcing my commitment to service, empathy, and community-driven impact. Leading this chapter has shown me the importance of building spaces where people feel supported, valued, and empowered to contribute to meaningful change.

SCALE Leader
As a SCALE Leader at Agnes Scott College, I guided students through professional development experiences designed to expose them to leadership, career readiness, and real-world industry environments. Through visits to organizations such as AT&T, Task Force for Global Health, Signature FD, and Steam Truck, I helped facilitate conversations around professionalism, networking, and career growth.
In this role, I mentored students on how to identify and leverage their strengths, present themselves confidently in professional settings, and stand out as candidates in competitive spaces. The experience strengthened my leadership, public speaking, and mentorship abilities while reinforcing my passion for helping others navigate professional development and career exploration.

Slience the Shame
At Silence the Shame, I participated in a six-month mental health and wellness program centered on personal development, community advocacy, and mental health education. The experience focused on strengthening emotional awareness, resilience, and leadership within the context of mental wellness and community care.
As a Wellness Ambassador, I engaged in monthly discussions and self-guided workshops that deepened my understanding of mental health, mindfulness, and the importance of reducing stigma around emotional well-being. I also applied these learnings through community-centered activities designed to promote awareness and encourage open dialogue around mental health.
This experience strengthened my commitment to mental health advocacy and reinforced my belief in creating spaces where people feel supported, heard, and empowered to prioritize their well-being.

Resident Assistant (RA)
As a Resident Assistant at Agnes Scott College, I support the development of an inclusive and engaging residential community by serving as a mentor, leader, and resource for students on campus. In this role, I help foster a welcoming environment that encourages connection, personal growth, and student well-being.
I assist with community building initiatives, student engagement, and peer support while helping residents navigate both academic and personal challenges. Through leadership, communication, and conflict resolution, I work to create a living environment where students feel safe, supported, and empowered throughout their college experience.
This position has strengthened my interpersonal skills, adaptability, and ability to lead within diverse community spaces while balancing responsibility, empathy, and collaboration.

Student Government Association
As an At-Large Senator for the Student Government Association at Agnes Scott College, I represented the broader student body by contributing to campus-wide initiatives, student engagement efforts, and organizational decision-making processes. In this leadership role, I collaborated with fellow student leaders to help strengthen campus culture and improve the student experience.
I supported the planning and execution of events, fundraisers, and community initiatives while also participating in discussions surrounding budgeting, programming, and strategic planning for student activities. This experience strengthened my leadership, collaboration, and communication skills while deepening my understanding of advocacy, representation, and community-centered leadership.
